Vacation Bible School took place early in the summer vacation time. The theme was The Sky. It was lots of fun for the both the kids and the workers. A few of our young people really came through and helped keep everyone happy and safe. We salute our helpful young people. Please enjoy these photos of our fun and learning.

Flea Market; May 12
The Lord gave us beautiful weather for our flea Market, mid 70s with gentle breezes. Lots of things changed hands at every table and stand. Lots of people met up with old friends and lots of people enjoyed good barbecue, soup, mac and cheese and lots of good desserts. Please enjoy this little photo gallery.

I wonder, were you there?

The Roast Beef Dinners at The Church in April and on September  are very successful. Everything usually goes well and a few new people are introduced to our nice church. Many thanks to all who pitched in and helped and Praise The Lord for all His help too.

Lets remember that
this year we are added a
Pork and Sauerkraut Dinner
to our repertory of fine meals.

See the Schedule page for our Next Dinner.

Our former pastor, Trasita Beach was also a prolific writer. On June 3, 2012 she was in attendance in Gettysburg, PA at the awards ceremony of The Pennsylvania Press Club, where she was the recipient of not just one or even two, but three first place awards. She placed first in the category “humor books” for her book entitled “Thinking and Laughing Allowed”. She received first prize in the “inspirational book” category for her book “A Sacred Soup” and lastly she earned the first place award in the category “humor column appearing in a newspaper” for her column in the Valley Voice newspaper in Hellertown, PA.
We all congratulated
Pastor Beach for
her amazing
achievement, three
big hits, Bravo!!!

    The Pampered Chef Party

Holly Cameron arranged a "PAMPERED CHEF" party in June the to benefit the church.
The sales demonstration was conducted by Peggy Larsen and all profits went to our church. Nine ladies and one four-year-old little lady were in attendance.
While showing off her products, Peggy prepared a delicious mango salsa right before our eyes, which we all got to sample. orders were taken, a free drawing was conducted, and Cathy Sufrich won a paring knife. After the demonstration we had a little cake, coffee and tortilla chip salsa snacks, Everybody broke into little gab-session circles before leaving one or two at a time. Everyone had a good time.

See you at church!

During our Pastor's short but well-earned summer vacation, the congregation and visitors at St' Peter's were blessed with the preaching of Pastor Tom Higgins who temporarily came out of retirement to preach to our congregation.
He spoke on the Eucharist and the Lord's prayer with a style that made each and every one feel as though he was talking just to him or her. He may be retired, but he is still a great preacher.
Thank you Pastor Higgins.
One Sunday in early August, after services were over we had our annual church picnic.  The church ordered the lunch meat and rolls for sandwiches and everything else was pot luck.

Here at St. Peters pot luck means home made and lots of it.

There were games like bean bag toss and and a cake walk and even a blindfolded feeding contest.                   Please enjoy these photos.
