About the "Potato Men"

Although it has been several years since this story came off the press, the Potato Man Ministry is still going full force.
Today we are working on our sixth ton of potatoes sent to the needy. And we can thank Tom Fleming for carrying on the Potato Ministry.
To donate, he can be reached at church and at 570-350-0092.

Another St. Peters Church members' Mission of Mercy
There are many people right here in Monroe County who are homeless living in their cars, in cardboard boxes under bridges, in abandoned industrial buildings or who are making the rounds of the couches of sympathetic people who live in walking distance of the soup kitchens
on Ann Street, Third Street and Fifth Street in Stroudsburg as well as on Cortland Street in East Stroudsburg.

Our own Dale Bone,  has made personal ministry of collecting  sleeping bags, blankets, warm sturdy clothing and boots  and even nice clothing that can be worn for job interviews, and distributing it directly to the poor and the homeless at the soup kitchens on meal days.
Donations of clean wearable clothing and clean serviceable blankets and sleeping bags are requested. Please call Dale at 570-982-2883to schedule a pick up or contact them via the church's  email. The poor thank you.
ALSO, Remember to pray for
the poor and the homeless.

Off-site Worship Services The second Sunday of every month at 2:30 PM at Spring Village assisted living home 329 E. Brown ST. East Stroudsburg. Please join us as we help the shut-ins there who love God to worship Him too.
(Contact Pastor Ed if you want to help or else just show up there.)
